When I viewed the following video of this man running onto the track field to help his son finish the race it reminded me of those who helped me to the finish-line when I was faltering and stumbling and felt weak to complete this race before me.
This reminded me that running the race set before each of us is not about winning but about finishing.
The Bible talks about running the race that God has put before us and run it well-with endurance.
As a Christian I could not have ran the race before me without others support and the help of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Others have helped me along the way. When I was going to stop doing this website others encouraged me from pastors, professor, friends and my husband. The one whom I want to thank is my granddaughter, Charlene Dobson, who said grandma “you need to tell our stories” – we need to tell them because other infants and children are being abused and dying when they shouldn’t be. Maybe, just maybe our stories will help to bring about positive change. That is our HOPE!

Jesus Christ of Nazareth finished His race by going to the cross for you and I. He faltered along the Via Dolorosa (the way of suffering) and someone came beside Him to help carry His cross for Him when humanly He would not have made it. He was born in that lowly manager, walked the Via Dolorosa (‘the way of suffering’), died by crucifixion, was buried and rose again as prophesied hundreds of years earlier.
Isaiah 53: 4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. 6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.”
When He comes again, another prophesy will be fully fulfilled: Isaiah 9: 6-7:
6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness, from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this”.
I have added a link that is a movie done in 1979 and tells the amazing story of His life, his death and resurrection. At the end of this 2:00:39 movie the narrator tells you how you can accept Jesus Christ and be ‘born again’ and have eternal life.
Here is the link https://youtu.be/EWYuIe8ftHA to the full story The Jesus Story (1979)
Remember You are the Reason He Suffered and Died so you could have eternal life.
Like mentioned in this song: I thank God for the ‘broken road’ – Selah –
Bless The Broken Road (with lyrics)
To challenge some of you I have added 3 links of true stories of where people who have either died and been revived or had near death experiences, who tell of a place of darkness-hell, being separated from God and/or being in God’s presence, who have seen Jesus and others in heaven.
A. Boy goes to Heaven.
B. 90 minutes in Heaven
C. Tamara Laroux Shot Herself, & Went to Hell, Then to Heaven and BACK!!
Jesus Christ of Nazareth‘s legacy is the most profound for all of mankind.
His legacy He knew from the time he was 12 years old or perhaps even younger. He knew that his end would be death by crucifixion whereby He’d be tortured, stripped naked and nailed to a cross, taking our sin upon himself. He knew that sin separated us from Him and He so desired to be in relationship with us. He loves YOU-ALL of us.
For those of you who’ve answered ‘the knock on the door of your heart’ and let Jesus Christ into your life, I rejoice with the angels in heaven for you, your life will be more abundant here and you now have eternal life.
For those who are thinking about answering His knock, please don’t wait too long because the knock may grow too faint for you to hear. It has been my great pleasure to share Jesus Christ with you.
* If nothing more comes of this website than one person – you- opening the door of your heart to to let Jesus come in and reign there, then doing this website will have been worth it all.
I love this song entitled: God’s Own Fool– by Michael Card. I invite you to become God’s Own Fool with me.
Closing Remarks:
We all have our Via Dolorosa in this life but He is there to comfort you and bring you through your sufferings.
May our Via Dolorosa as depicted in this link, count for eternity and count in our life-time for positive changes in social justice and reform to save lives and to heal our nation.
